We have people ranging from a top concert photographer to a journalist with a Twitter verified account; hard-working people are in no shortage here in our batch.
Right on my first day in college, a few small conversations with the people in class were good enough to convince me that my batch mates were among the brightest minds I’d ever come across. It was a big challenge then for everybody to be able to fit in that environment, considering that the college authorities constantly reminded us that our college, Symbiosis Centre for Media & Communication Pune, was ranked as the best Mass Communication college in India for a reason. There was a big question in the minds of all students regarding the storming competition in college, which comes complimentary in almost all good educational institutes now.
Two and a half years later, now, while I write this as my last semester commences, I can only say one thing about my inspiring batch-mates – these are a bunch of people who have given me more knowledge than any book I’ve ever read. Hands on experiences, experiments, and the sheer will to do anything are what the students of SCMC’18 stand for. They are more inspiring than any other person or story that I know of, because over the years, I have seen these people grow into fine professionals from a bunch of amateurs just trying to experiment.
This city introduced me to more than a thousand people but I can easily say that I’ve come across the best in my class. We have people ranging from a top concert photographer to a journalist with a Twitter verified account; hard-working people are in no shortage here in our batch. Just to see everybody work so hard every day is utterly inspiring. My fellow batch-mates are the best thing about my college.
